WSFDA Board of Directors – Call for Candidates

The Washington State Funeral Directors Association (WSFDA) will have several Board of Directors positions opening this August. This is an excellent opportunity to help shape the future of our profession, advocate for death care professionals across Washington State, and contribute to the continued success of our association.
We encourage all interested WSFDA members to consider serving on the Board. Candidates seeking election must submit the following for consideration:
• Professional biography
• Current photograph
• Statement of interest (optional but encouraged)
Submitted candidate information will be shared with the membership prior to the election. Board positions will be filled through a vote of the WSFDA membership.
Application Deadline: July 10, 2026
All candidate materials must be received no later than July 10, 2026 to be included on the ballot.
Please submit your biography and photo to director@wsfda.org.
We encourage members who are passionate about the future of funeral service, cremation, and cemetery care in Washington State to step forward and become involved. Your voice, experience, and leadership can make a difference.
