Mr. Danekas, 83, longtime funeral director and owner of the Danekas Funeral Chapel, passed away Monday, June 1, 2026 at his home surrounded by his family.

Funeral Services for William G. “Bill” Danekas, Sr. will be conducted at 11:00 a.m. on Tuesday, June 9, 2026 at the Grace Bible Church in Colville, Washington. Vault interment will follow at the Mountain View Cemetery.
