The establishment must hold and maintain a funeral home establishment license in the State of Washington. Annual dues are $500 per year and monthly case counts of $6.25 per case for the first 1,000 cases, then $3.35 per case thereafter. Dues are divided into monthly payments and a one time application fee of $50 is required at the time of application.

Must be a Funeral Home licensed to operate in another state and be a member of good standing in your local association. Annual dues are $275 plus a one time application fee of $50.

Any firm marketing or is interested in marketing merchandise to the death care profession. Membership fee is $500 per year which is divided into 12 monthly payments.

Any person,  or firm, which does not market products or services to,  but may have an interest in,  the death care profession, and who does not have an ownership stake in a privately held funeral establishment that is eligible for membership in the WSFDA. Membership fee is $275 plus a one time application fee of $50.

 Any person duly licensed as a funeral director or registered intern in the state of Washington, and who does not have an ownership stake in a privately held funeral establishment that is eligible for membership in the WSFDA,  may apply for Individual Membership in WSFDA. The application shall be referred to the Board of Directors for consideration. Membership dues are $75 per year plus an application fee of $50.

Any duly authorized representative of a member firm having been an active member of the funeral profession, and active in WSFDA for twenty years (in good standing), upon retirement for any reason, may, upon application to the Board of Directors, be elected to an Honorary Membership with all the rights and privileges of WSFDA, except the right to vote at General meetings. There are no fees associated with this member type.
